New Product Shoot

Q4 of 2019 truMedic was releasing a new neck & shoulder massager called MagicHands. This new massager was designed in house and was months in the making. truMedic was going to debut the massager on Good Morning America’s steals and deals in mid December and they needed a video to coincide with the launch. truMedic wanted to target a younger health conscious audience so I decided to create a quick, flashy and informative ad showcasing the benefits of MagicHands. We picked models we deemed best fit and scheduled a 1 day video- photo shoot to obtain all assets we needed.

I shot on the Blackmagic Ursa mini pro in front of a black paper backdrop in prores hq in 4k resolution. For some of the shots, I had the models stand on a motorized lazy susan that I built years ago for another project. After the shoot, I cut everything in Premiere and then tweaked visuals and composited graphics in After effects. After several revisions we had several videos ready for MagicHands launch which was also chosen as one of Oprah’s favorite things for 2019.
