New Workstation Build

This week I built a new workstation PC to speed up my workflow since I’ve been dealing with slower timelines and longer renders. I decided to go with AMD’s new Ryzen 3900x 12 core processor along with 64GB DDR4 ram, 4TB WD Black hdd, 2TB ssd, 2TB NVME, and RTX 2080 super graphics card. I wanted to showcase this masterpiece by hanging on the wall above my desk and to easily access components.
I’m really happy with the improved speeds in Adobe suite, even though Adobe itself is not perfectly optimised to make full use of the new hardware. My older tower I plan on using for render assistance in media encoder, which I’ll report back if there’s any noticeable bump in speed.

These are just some of the computers I’ve built the past 10 years which I used to satisfy my insatiable need for better visuals and graphics in my work.
